Features
The Arturia Jun-6 V is a virtual instrument plug-in that models the pure analog spirit of the Roland Juno-6 synthesizer, the DCO (Digitally Controlled Oscillator) classic that brought polyphony to the masses. Its thick and creamy sound, iconic BBD stereo chorus, and enhanced modulation options (for the richest chords) remain awe-inspiring to this day.Optimized for the modern music maker, Jun-6 V features an easy-to-use interface, simple controls, accessible creative features, and 180+ factory presets, making it an essential keyboard for bringing instant mix-filling analog fatness and '80s synth glory to your productions. Arturia's proprietary TAE technology accurately emulates the characteristics of analog oscillators, filters, and soft clipping, ensuring that the Jun-6 V sounds and behaves exactly like the original Juno-6. The software is compatible with Mac and Windows. It runs as standalone software or operates within AU, VST, and AAX formats. - Instantly find the sound that’s in your head with intelligent and streamlined preset browsing—over 180 factory presets.
- Integrated in-app tutorials guide you through every aspect of the instrument.
- Resizable GUI.
- Arturia Software Center lets you download, organize, and update all your Arturia software titles in one place, as well as manage all of your licenses across multiple devices.
- Next-generation component-level model of the Roland Juno-6.
- TAE-powered for component-accurate detail and authentic analog charm.
- Free-running phase oscillator with up to 36 voices of polyphony.
- Double-barrelled filter with bubbling low-pass warmth, dynamic high-pass tension, or a combination of the two.
- State-of-the-art analog BBD stereo chorus emulation.
- 3 voice-calibration states for true analog realism.
- Classic arpeggiator.
- Expanded modulation: One envelope has become two, and a second multiwaveform LFO has been added to the mix. The second ADSR envelope features two freely assignable destinations, as does LFO 2.
- LFO 2: A sample-and-hold waveform modulating the VCF cutoff frequency, bringing dynamic random movement to a static vintage-sounding patch.
- Chord Mode: Transform every note into a full-sounding chord, and choose from 12 voicings including your own custom voicing.
- 3-Mode Chorus: Cycle through Dry, Mode I, Mode II, and the secret Mode 3, with its original mono sound and faster modulation rate.
- Bender and Unison: Bender is hardwired to the DCO and VCF for instant pitch bends and dynamic build-ups. Unison assigns multiple voices to a single note for condensed fatness, perfect for pumping bass arps or red-hot leads.
- Delay and Reverb: Add spacious reverb and delay to modernize your vintage sound.
- Pulsing Reverb: Use Jun-6 V's modulation controls to create moving ambience.
- Modwheel, Velocity, and Aftertouch: With the Modwheel, tweak the LFO intensity for the DCO and/or VCF, or assign it to a destination of your choice. Assign Velocity or AfterTouch to a modulation destination of your choice for dynamic movement that responds to every touch.
