The Wurlitzer V is a high end software recreation of the classic Wurlitzer 200A electric piano.
Unlike sample libraries, its physical modeling engine reproduces the very acoustic properties of reeds, key action and amplification, bringing you high realism while offering maximum flexibility on sound.
As most producers know, the legendary bright and overdriven Wurlitzer sound heard on classic records also comes from the use of fine amplifiers, micing and processing. This is why the Wurlitzer V goes further by putting you in command of a studio from the 70’s, filled with vintage stompboxes and classic tube amps… everything you need to get a true classic vibe!
If you are looking for a lively electric piano combined with inspiring studio tools, the Wurlitzer V is the ultimate package.

The Wurli V from Arturia is a software recreation of the classic Wurlitzer 200A electric piano using circuit modeling. Unlike sample libraries that produce static snapshots of individual events, modeling sets out to reproduces the acoustic properties of the reeds and hammers, key action and amplification, the internal amplification system, and even the acoustic properties of the plastic body.
The legendary bright and overdriven Wurlitzer sound heard on countless classic records came from the original use of boutique effects and mic'd guitar tube amplifiers. To add authenticity to the software, a modeled studio environment was created that includes the same amplifiers, microphones and effects. And to allow the musician to easily interact with the sound, the user interface features "in-depth" parameter controls right on the main panel. It's possible to change things like hammer hardness, or the harmonic spectrum, or the dynamic range for instance.Physical modeling of the classic Wurlitzer 200A Electric Piano Advanced parameters to allow in-depth control over user's sound design Includes eleven classic stompbox-type modeled effects Four guitar tube amps and a rotary speaker modeling for vintage live sound Extensive MIDI mapping of pedals, effects, and sound engine parameters Redesigned preset browser Modeled Amplifiers- Fender Deluxe Reverb Blackface
